Announcement of Monthly Events & January's Event!

Hey there, this is wllmbr here to announce something special! Other servers have done monthly build contests and while we the staff like the idea, building something over and over again tends to get tiresome. So instead, we are keeping the “monthly” part but changing up the event to make “Monthly Events”! (How original, right?) Anyways, every month there Will B. some special event or series of events that all players and ranks of Cyclone can participate in!

Starting off next month, we will do a server wide Hardcore Survival similar to the style of Peanut Butter Gamer’s Hardcore series. The world Will B. locked at Hard Difficulty and once you die, you are out of the contest even if someone else kills you. If you kill someone else, you Will B. kicked from the contest. We will do this as a group and therefore, no one is to go off and start their own survival party. If you do, you Will B. kicked from the contest. All of the resources that are collected are to be shared among everyone. The only things you may call your own are Armor and Weapons. This Will B. a one day ordeal on January 4th and will start at 9 AM Central Standard Time and end at 12 AM (Midnight) Central Standard Time. This will allow us 15 hours to accomplish our tasks. When you are in the contest, all of your Permissions Will B. taken away (You can still chat, but that is it). Upon your death or ejection from the contest, your Permissions Will B. restored.

There are also 4 Goals that we will try to meet.

- Kill the Ender Dragon
- Kill the Wither
- Build a stable and sustainable colony
- Survive!!!

For each Goal that you help complete you will get part of the Ultimate Prize. If you are a part of all 4 Goals’ completion, you get a Prefix of Champion for the rest of the month.

If you wish to participate, please reply with your IGN and be on the server BEFORE the start time of the contest. If you have a suggestion for the Prizes, you can put that in your reply as well.
